Connecting to the Tracker Import Source

When you are importing data from a Tracker project database, the Connect to Serena Tracker Source dialog box opens after you specify your import source on the Source for the Import dialog box. Use this dialog box to specify connection settings for the Tracker project from which you will import data.

The following options are available on the Connect to Serena Tracker Source dialog box:

• Converted Solution – If you are creating an Import Option Set, this drop-down list contains all solutions created from or augmented with Tracker project elements using the Solution Wizard in TeamTrack 6.6.1 or earlier. Solutions created from a Tracker project are listed by solution name, Tracker project, and creation date. Augmented solutions are prefaced with 'Additions to.' Select a solution from the list to use mappings specific to the Tracker project when you import data. If you are editing an Import Option Set, this setting is disabled. This setting is not required.
  Note: The Solution Wizard is not available with SBM10.1.
• Server – This drop-down list contains the available Tracker server definitions. Select the server that contains the Tracker project from which you want to import data.
• Project - This drop-down list contains the projects for the specified server. Select the project that contains data you want to import.
• Server Administrator Password - Provide the password for Tracker server administration.

Click Next to continue.
