The Locale tab enables you to specify your locale and manage how dates and times appear in the SBM User Workspace. After you select date/time options, the Sample Date/Time field shows an example of how dates and times will appear to you.
Select the following options as they apply:
The system locale is enclosed in brackets, such as <English (United States)>. Select a different locale as needed. By default, the system locale specified by your administrator is selected.
If you select Use Date/Time Format From Locale, the Date Format Type drop-down list appears and enables you to select a preferred date/time format for the selected locale. For example, if you select the English (United States) locale and Use Date/Time Format from Locale as the format, the following display options are available:
The system time zone is enclosed in brackets, such as <GMT -7:00 America/Denver>. Select a different time zone as needed. By default, the system time zone specified by your administrator is selected.
Calendars are defined in SBM Application Administrator. This option is enabled if your administrator has granted you privileges to select calendars for hours of operation. Calendars are used to:
This setting determines what day is used for the start of each week in calendar reports, date picker popups, and date/time keywords. By default, the locale you select determines what day is used for the start of the week. Otherwise, a specific day is set as the first day of the week.
