Getting Started with the SBM User Workspace → Personalizing the SBM User Workspace → Working with Your User Profile → Setting General Options
The General tab enables you to modify your name, title, password, phone numbers, and e-mail address for your SBM account. If you have the Modify User Profile Settings privilege, you can modify additional preferences.
Browse for a picture that you want to appear in the SBM User Workspace. You can select JPG, PNG, and GIF files. The picture's dimensions should be square to prevent distortion when it is displayed. There is a maximum file size, and an error message will display if you exceed the limit. The default maximum size is 100KB, which can be modified by your administrator as described in Knowledgebase. If you do not select an avatar, the first initial of your first name is displayed instead.
Enter your name as you want it to appear in the SBM User Workspace.
Enter your title as you want it to appear.
Enter a telephone number.
Enter a mobile phone number.
Enter a new password of no more than 36 characters. As you begin typing a new password, the Current Password box appears. You must provide your current password before you can change it.
Provide your current password. This box is visible when you begin typing a new password or changing your e-mail information. You must enter your current password to change your password, e-mail address, e-mail aliases, or your e-mail CC list.
Select your preferred contact method. This enables other users to know which method to use when they want to contact you.
Enter your e-mail aliases if you use an external e-mail client to submit items or attach messages to items as notes. E-mail aliases are used to verify that submissions and messages are sent by users with valid SBM accounts. E-mail messages are never sent to the provided aliases; they are used solely for verification. Separate multiple addresses with semi-colons.
Enter the SBM user IDs or user names for users who should receive carbon copies of your e-mail notifications. Separate multiple user IDs or names with semi-colons. Members of your e-mail CC list only receive carbon copies of SBM notification messages only, not e-mail messages sent through the SBM User Workspace.
This option is available on this tab for users who do not have privileges to modify their user profile. Click Edit to open out-of-office settings that enable you to delegate primary items to another user for a specific amount of time. Delegates must have privileges to own items in the projects selected for delegation.
For details, refer to Delegating Primary Items to Another User.
