The Release Deployment action cancels a hold for a ChangeMan ZMF change package deployment that is currently on hold. When you release a hold, the following rules apply:
The fields that are displayed when configuring the deployment tasks to release a change package deployment are described in the following table.

Upon release, the promotion job will be executed according to the deployment schedule or will be executed immediately if the scheduled time has already passed. |

After you create the deployment task, the task appears in the list in red, and you must then associate the related change package with the deployment task. See Linking Deployment Units to Deployment Tasks.
