Preparing the Business Requests App

Follow these steps to prepare the Business Requests process app:

Assign users to roles following the guidance in Assigning Users to Business Request Roles.
Review the list of required Business Request elements. For details, refer to Required Business Request Elements.

Required Business Request Elements

The Business Requests process app is optional, but it is designed to work with Demand Center. To ensure that the process app works as intended, do not modify the following elements.

System Update Transition
A hidden transition that coordinates request status between SBM and Demand Center.
Notifications That Execute Transitions
The following transitions automatically update work notes in the business requests based on Demand Center activities, in addition to noted automation performed by the notification.
- BR - (Auto update) Planning complete in Demand Center
  Also, automatically moves requests to the "Development" state.
- BR - (Auto update) Request is accepted into analysis
- BR - (Auto update) Request is rejected from Demand Center
  Also, automatically moves request to the "New/Analyzing" state.
- BR - (Auto update) Placed on hold from Demand Center
- BR - (Auto update) Request is taken off hold from Demand Center
  Also, automatically moves requests to the "Development" state.
Supporting Notification Rules
- BR - Request is in new state and has been unpaused
- BR - Request is in new state and paused
- BR - Request is unpaused due to rejection from Demand Center
- BR - Request is unpaused and in the development state
- BR - Request is in development and is paused
