About Public Folders

Public folders are created and managed by your administrator. They can contain primary items, auxiliary items, reports, and URLs. Items available in public folders are not dependent on the selected Application tab.

Note: Starting with SBM 11.3, you can create shared folders in SBM Work Center and designate other users as co-owners, collaborators, contributors, or viewers. For details, refer to the SBM Work Center Guide.
The sort order for public folders is as follows:

Depending on your privileges, you can view, add, and remove links from public folders in the SBM User Workspace.

Note: If you have privileges to view links in a child folder but you do not have privileges to view links in the parent folder, you can view the parent folder, but not its contents.
