Importing Data Into Your Database → Importing Data from a Serena Tracker Project → Mapping Tracker Source Fields to SBM Fields → Tracker-to-SBM Field Mapping Considerations
Consider the following information before mapping Tracker fields to SBM fields:
You can map source fields to multiple destination fields; you can also map multiple source fields to Multi-Selection, Multi-User, Multi-Group, and Auxiliary Multi-Relational fields.
SBM states use the Active/Inactive field to automatically determine the status of items in each state. You can map the Active/Inactive field to an SBM field, but it may be more beneficial to use the automatic setting of the Active/Inactive field.
Some SBM system fields are populated as events occur in the workflow. When you import data, the Last Modified Date and Last State Change Date are populated with the date and time items are imported and the Last Modifier and Last State Changer fields are set to "None." Depending on your needs, you can map these fields to Tracker source fields to replace destination field values when you import data.
