The
key to achieving a successful import lies in taking the time to
prepare source data for importing. For example, you may need to
manipulate data to match values in
SBM,
and for generic database imports, you may need to build additional
columns in the import file to support
SBM
relationships and processes.
CAUTION:
Importing data into your SBM
database requires an intimate knowledge of the data you are
importing. For best results, copy your production database and test
your import on the copy before importing data into your production
database.
