Creating Timelines

You can create a timeline if you need more than just the default one.

You must have the remote administration system privilege to add timelines.

To create timelines, you must use Timeline Manager.

To add a timeline:

  1. Access Timeline Manager with the following URL:


  2. In Timeline Manager, click the + button.
  3. In Choose Report, select the report you want to use from the list. For example: All Environments. See Creating Reports for the Timeline.
  4. Add ranges, events, and overlays. See Defining Timeline Elements.
  5. Save the timeline.
  6. Add the timeline to the Release Control dashboard. See Adding Timelines to the Dashboard.
