ChangeMan ZMF Plugin → Using the ChangeMan ZMF Plugin → Configuring Tasks for ChangeMan ZMF Change Packages → Approving ChangeMan ZMF Change Packages to PROD
After the ChangeMan ZMF Execution Provider configuration has been added or updated as needed, users, such as Release Managers, can approve ChangeMan ZMF change packages to production, the final approval for distribution and installation, through deployment tasks.
The fields that are displayed when configuring the deployment tasks to approve change packages to production are described in the following table.

Description | A longer description that explains what the task does | This task approves the change package so that it will be automatically distributed and installed at the time scheduled on the ChangeMan ZMF calendar |

Environments | Select from environments configured in the deployment path. For example, Dev, Test, and Prod. | <select Prod> |
Approver | For each selected environment, select the final approver. These are the final approvers set up in ChangeMan ZMF. | <select final approver> |
After you create the deployment task, the task appears in the list in red, and you must then associate the related change package with the deployment task. See Linking Deployment Units to Deployment Tasks.
