About Nolio Deployment Tasks

To add a Nolio deployment task, you use the Nolio execution provider. Typically, to use the Nolio execution provider, in a Release Package in the Deployment Tasks tab, do the following:

1. Click Edit Deployment Tasks.
2. Click the + icon to add a task.
3. Select the Nolio execution provider name as shown in the following figure:

   

4. Fill out the resulting form.

   The Nolio actions available to select in deployment tasks are as follows:

   • Create and Run Deployment Plan: If the designated deployment plan does not exist, it will create it. If a plan with same name and build exists, the deployment task will be invalid. If the name exists, but the build is different, a new one will be created. The only way to run an existing plan is to use the Run Deployment action.
   • Run Process: Runs an existing process
   • Run Deployment: Runs an existing deployment plan, enabling you to run a deployment plan over and over again
