Configuring Tasks to Promote Baselines or Requests

The fields that are displayed when configuring the deployment tasks to promote Dimensions CM baselines or requests are described in the following table.

Field	Description	Example Values
Product	The Dimensions CM product in which the baseline is located	QLARIUS
Project	The Dimensions CM project or stream in which the baseline is located; requires Product	QLARIUS:TEST_PROJECT
Comment	User comment required by Dimensions CM for the promotion
Deployment Stage (1 per environment)	The stage of Dimensions CM GSL to which the associated item revisions should be promoted	PROD
Recursive (Requests only; per environment)	The Dimensions CM Request provider can deploy, promote, and demote dependent child requests if the parent request has been added to Release Control as a deployment unit. Select the Recursive checkbox under an environment to activate that feature for that environment.
