Indicating whether a task ignores resource calendars

A resource generally is associated with a calendar. You can configure a task in a task plan to ingore any assigned resource's calendar for the purposes of scheduling the task in the task plan.

To indicate that a task ignores resource calendars

Open the Projects module.
Select an item.
Select the Task Plan tab.
Select a task in the task plan.
Open the Task Information dialog box.
Select the Advanced tab.
Select Ignore Resource Calendar.
Click Close.
