Exporting Components

Exporting a component creates a JSON file (file extension json) that contains the component's source configuration information, properties, and processes. For information about JSON, see www.json.org.

To export a component:

Navigate to the Components page, Management > Components. In the Actions column beside a component, click the Export link. You can load the file into a text editor, or save it. If you save it, a file is created with the same name as the selected component, for example, helloWorld.json.
