Requirements and Development Integration

Release Manager provides sample integrations that enable you to associate external business requirements and development tasks with Release Manager application releases. The requirements and development tasks can be selected and associated to turnovers, limited by those associated to the parent application release. A roll-up in a release train shows all requirements and development tasks associated with the application releases on that train.

The sample integrations include the following:

Serena Business Manager
You can associate SBM items, such as issues or incidents, with Release Manager application release business requests or requirements and development tasks. You can use the provided Sample Business Request and Sample Development Task process apps to create items for proof of concept. You can use these process apps as models for new process apps or change the integration to use your existing process apps.
ServiceNow
You can associate ServiceNow change requests, such as business services, service requests, incidents, or problems, with Release Manager application release business requests.
Atlassian JIRA
You can associate JIRA issues, such as bugs, tasks, improvements, or user stories, with Release Manager application release development tasks.
