To improve the performance of your database, you can archive inactive primary items and change history information for active and inactive primary and auxiliary items. Archived items are stored in special tables in the database. The archive feature allows you to restore archived items as well as purge items. The Archive Wizard assists you in determining which items to archive, restore, and/or purge. In SBM Work Center, users granted the correct privileges can view and restore archived inactive primary items.
