Jobs View Settings

The Jobs view displays details about the jobs that have been defined using the Scheduler. Use this view to add, edit, and delete jobs.

Note: The Scheduler can also display any LDAP import jobs that have been scheduled using Import Users | Schedule Import.

Finding and Sorting Jobs in the List

By default, jobs are sorted alphabetically by name. Depending on the number of jobs in your system, you may need to navigate the list. To do so:

Click the column headers to sort jobs by the following fields:
- Job Name: The name of the job.
- Schedule: When the job is scheduled to occur.
- Author: The user who defined the job.
- Triggered: The date when the job was last executed, or "Never" if the job has not been executed yet.
- Last Execution Status: The status of the job when it was last executed, “Failure” or "Success", or "Unknown” if the job has not been executed yet.
  For Run Script, Run Web Service, and Call REST jobs, click the log icon to view detailed information.
- Status: "Enabled" or "Disabled."
Search for jobs by name.
Use the drop-down list next to Now showing to set the number of items to display on the page. You can use one of the provided amounts or specify your own number under 1,000 items. Use the navigation arrows to move through multiple pages.

The following options enable you to work with jobs in the list:

Add
Click to add a job. For details, refer to Adding Groups.
Details
Select a job, and then click to edit the job.
Delete
Select a job, and then click to delete the job. For details, refer to Deleting Jobs.
Tip: Consider disabling the job, which retains the job definition but does not execute it.
