Restoring Archived Items

Before users can view archived items, they must be granted the View All Archived Items and Restore Item from Archive privileges for the projects in which you want them to restore archived inactive primary items.

To restore an archived item, the item must be found using the Advanced Search feature. Follow the instructions in Viewing Archived Items to access an archived item.

To restore archived items:

  1. Once the archived item or items display after the Advanced Search is performed, select the item you want to restore.
  2. In the Item Details pane a Restore from Archive button is available.
  3. Click the Restore from Archive button and a message appears confirming the action. The item moves from the Archive table to the active table and is then deleted from the Archive table.

Once the item is moved from the archive to the active table, the item can be updated and transitioned as needed.
