Managing Your Views

Use the Manage Views page to manage your menus and views for Home and each application or application group.

In Manage Views, you can:

Find and run views.
Add views to your personal menu.
Drag and drop menu items to reorder them.
Create views without adding them to your menu. This is good for creating views you want to share with others.
Edit views.
Delete views you created or that you own.
Access the Report Center. For details, refer to Using the Report Center.
Add reports to your personal menu.

Navigating the Views Page

The Manage Views page is divided into three sections, as shown in the following example.

Menu Item Order
Organize your menus by dragging and dropping items. For details on personalizing your menus, refer to Customizing Your Menus.

Select a menu category, such as Activities, and then click the blue plus sign to create a new view of that type. Select the Reports category to create a new report.
Refined by
Filter the list of views by shared access level (owner, collaborator, viewer, etc.), author, application, and status. For reports, use the application, project, type, access level, or author facets to filter the list.

Note: If too many items are returned in any category, you can search the results lists. For example, if more than 10 applications are returned, you can search for a specific application in the result list.
Main Content Pane
The content in the main pane is determined by the category you select in the menu. For example, if you select Dashboards in the menu, the content pane shows Dashboard views.

Use the legend below the figure to learn about the Manage Views page. Dashboards are shown for this example, but the options apply to all view types and reports.
1. Search for items in your selected context by name or description. For example, if you select Dashboards in the menu, you can search for dashboard views.
2. Click a view or report in the content pane to run it. System and shared views are indicated by the orange icon ().
3. Hover over a view or report and:
  - Click the edit icon to modify the view or report.
    Depending on your view access level, you may be able to change the shared view. You can also add feeds and widgets to your personal version of a view.
    
    You can modify reports based on your privileges.
  - Click the delete icon to delete the view or report.
  - Click the star to add a view to your personal menu. Refer to Customizing Your Menus.
4. Use the Create button to create a view or report, based on the content type you are viewing.
