Selecting a Destination Database

The Select the Destination Database dialog box allows you to select an ODBC data source.

The following options are available:

• From the Specify Data Source for an Existing Database drop-down list, select an ODBC data source. For new installations, select the "SBM" DSN.

  Important: For Oracle systems, you must connect to the database using either the "SBM" DSN that is installed with SBM or a system DSN that uses the "Oracle for SBM" driver that is installed with SBM. If you attempt to use a DSN other than the "SBM" DSN provided by SBM, SBM System Administrator prompts you to either use the "SBM" DSN or to modify or create a DSN that uses the "Oracle for SBM" driver.

• Click the ODBC button to open the ODBC Data Source Administrator, and then create a data source for your database. You must create a system DSN by selecting the System DSN tab.
