Managing External Users → Setting External User Options → Setting up Self-Registration for External Users → Setting up Automatic or Manual Registration
You can set up the Self-Registration feature so that new external user accounts are created automatically or manually created by an existing user.
The following guidelines apply to these settings:
Select Automatic Registration to create user accounts with External User access to your system with no interaction on the part of an existing user. When external users register via the Self-Registration form, a record is automatically created in the Contacts table and an external user account.
