The following roles are available with the Asset Management process app:
Intended for IT personnel who manage assets. Users assigned to this role can submit, own, and act on assets. They can also create and run asset management reports.
Intended for employees who are assigned assets. Users assigned only to this role cannot own or view assets, but they are available as selections in the Employee field.
Intended for members of your financial team who need visibility into asset cost and depreciation information. These users can also submit, view, and act on assets. Financial team members can also manually calculate depreciation for individual assets.
Intended for users who need to approve assets based on business need. For example, a manager may need to approve a new laptop for an employee. Users assigned to this role can submit, own, and act on assets. They can also create and run asset management reports.
Intended for users who will approve assets from a financial perspective. Financial approvers can also run create and asset depreciation reports and update accounting and purchasing information.
intended for users who will purchase assets. Users assigned to this role can submit, own, and act on assets. They can also create and run asset management reports.
Intended for users who need all privileges in the Asset Management process app. These users are typically administrators.
