Translating Strings in Application Administrator

Use the Values page in Application Administrator to provide new translated values for languages other than the default English (United States) or other languages that have translations.

To modify strings:

  1. Select the Values tab.
  2. Expand the Request Center (User Defined Objects) category.
  3. Select a section that contains strings you want to translate. For example, to translate category names, select the SRC Category Name section.
  4. Navigate to or search for the string you want to modify.
  5. On-premise – Click in the Value column, and then provide the value that should be shown to users for each predefined locale.

    On-demand – Click in the Override column, and then provide the value that should be shown to users for each predefined locale.

  6. Optionally, click in the Tag row and provide a label or comment for the string value.
  7. In Application Administrator, select the Import tab, and then import the file.
  8. Save your changes.
