Importing the Solutions

This topic describes how to import the Serena Service Manager solution files into your environment. Importing a solution adds all of the snapshots and process apps for the solution to your SBM Server. The process apps and snapshots are available for promotion after the import.

Note the following about importing the solutions:

To import a solution:

  1. Log in to SBM Application Repository using the following URL:
  2. Select the Solutions tab.
  3. Import the Serena Service Manager solutions.

Upon successful completion, the imported solutions appear in the Imported solutions list.

The snapshots contained in the imported solution are now available for promotion. For steps on promoting the snapshots, see Promoting the Snapshots.
