Scheduling Release Trains

The overall schedule of release trains is based on the dates for the release gates such as Development Complete Date, QA Complete Date, and End Date. Planned and Actual dates are planned by default. Actual dates are updated automatically when the release train is transitioned through the associated gates.

Note: Scheduling can also be done for deployment. See Scheduling Deployment Tasks and Scheduling into Environments.

To schedule a release train:

Enter dates for each workflow stage while creating a release train.
Tip: Select Quarter Release or Six Month Release to auto-populate the fields using today's date as the start date, or calculate them using a specified start or end date.
To update dates for a release train, in the train's Schedule/Gates tab, click Change Release Schedule.
