PPM Object Configuration Properties

An item configuration enables you to associate PPM projects, epics, and tasks with requests.

Field Descriptions

The field descriptions are included in the UI. While creating or editing a configuration, point to a field name to view its description.

Most of the available fields for this configuration are defined at the base configuration level. Additional fields are described in the following table.

Configuration Properties

Field	Description	Field Types	Example
Title	Enter a title for the configuration.	TEXT
Description	Enter a description of the configuration.	TEXT
Plugin Instance	Select an instance of a PPM plugin.
Type Name	Select a configuration type: PPM Projects PPM Epics PPM Tasks
Base Configuration	Select an existing Base configuration or --NEW-- to create a new one. If you select an existing configuration the fields below are automatically populated but you can override them.
Base Configuration Title	Enter a title for the new Base configuration.	TEXT
Base Configuration Description	Enter a description of the new Base configuration.	TEXT
PPM URL	Specify a valid URL for a PPM server.	TEXT	https://ppm-server.com:8087/
User name	Enter a user ID.	TEXT
Password	Enter the password for the user ID.	TEXT
