Creating ServiceNow Items

If a ServiceNow item that you want to associate with a Release Control request or configure an action for does not yet exist, you can create it while adding or linking the item.

To create ServiceNow items while adding or editing a request:

  1. In a deployable release train or release package, select the Requests tab.
  2. Click Edit Requests.
  3. Click the + icon to add a request.
  4. Select a ServiceNow Item configuration.
  5. Select Create item.
  6. Fill out the resulting fields.

The fields that are displayed are described in the following table.
