Displaying ServiceNow Fields in Collection Columns

In addition to the custom column fields that are available by default, any fields you have mapped to Release Control can be displayed in columns, since they are added to Release Control tables when they are mapped.

To make ServiceNow fields available to display in collections:

  1. In the configuration, map the fields you want to use.
  2. In SBM Application Administrator, do the following:
    1. In Auxiliary Data, select the RLC Custom Columns auxiliary table.
    2. Update the entry you are using for your request columns, such as Default Requests Custom Columns, using any of the following:
      • Any of the general custom column fields
      • Default fields for ServiceNow custom columns
      • Alias fields that map to the ServiceNow fields
      • Any fields mapped in the ServiceNow configurations
  3. In a release package or deployable release train Requests tab, click Reload Request Data to populate existing requests with the columns and latest data from ServiceNow.
