Configuring Tasks to Deploy Dimensions CM Baselines or Requests

The fields that are displayed when configuring tasks to deploy Dimensions CM baselines or requests are described in the following table.

Field	Description	Example Values
Product	The Dimensions CM product in which the baseline or request is located	QLARIUS
Project	The Dimensions CM project or stream in which the baseline or request is located; requires Product	QLARIUS:TEST_PROJECT
Baseline Specification	(Baseline only) Click the link icon to select a baseline. From here, you can: Use available items: Select baselines that have already been added. Use available configurations: Search for existing baselines or create new ones. This uses Dimensions CM Baseline Item configurations. See Associating Baselines with Deployment Units and Creating Baselines.
Request	(Request only) Click the link icon to select a request. From here, you can: Use available items: Select requests that have already been added. Use available configurations: Search for existing requests or create new ones. This uses Dimensions CM Request Item configurations. See Associating Requests as Deployment Units and Creating Requests.
Comment	Enter a comment as required by Dimensions CM for the deployment
Environment	Select each environment in which you want to execute the task. These are the environments configured in the deployment path. For example, Dev, Test, and Prod.
Deployment Stage	Select the stage of the Dimensions CM Global Stage Library (GSL) that you want to use for the deployment	QA
Deployment Area	(Multiple selections possible) Select the deployment areas of Dimensions CM GSL to which you want to deploy the associated item revisions; requires Deployment Stage	QA2_ORACLE
Recursive	(Requests only; per environment) The Dimensions CM Request Actions configuration can deploy, promote, and demote dependent child requests if the parent request has been added to Release Control as a deployment unit. Select the Recursive checkbox under an environment to activate that feature for that environment.
Schedule Options	Select the schedule option and fill out the additional fields that open based on your selection. Options include the following: None Specific Time Opportunity Window Time Window Delay Hold Until Released
