Associating Requests as Deployment Units

After a Dimensions CM Request Items configuration has been added or updated as needed, you can associate Dimensions CM requests with deployment units.

This enables you to associate the requests with deployment units so they can be promoted, demoted, and deployed through deployment tasks.

To do this, do the following:

  1. In the Deployment Units tab, click Edit Deployment Units.
  2. Click the + icon to add a deployment unit.
  3. Select a Dimensions CM Request Item configuration.
  4. Select Search for items.

Enter search criteria and then click Find Items to find and select the requests to associate.

You can further filter by entering text in the filter box above the results.

The fields that are displayed are described in the following table.

Field Description Example Values
Product The Dimensions CM product that contains the requests for associating QLARIUS
Request Type Filters Select one or more request types to filter the scope of the search. Available options are based on the selected product.
Request Status Filters

Optionally select from the request status filters to limit the scope of the request search.

Values are specified in the Request Status Filters list of the configuration and appear here for selection.

RAISED, UNDER WORK, IN TEST, CLOSED, REJECTED
Request Name Filter Enter a request name filter of up to 60 characters.
