Target Tab

Use the Target tab of the Project Merge/Compare Dialog Box to select or create the resulting merged folder.

NOTE The target project or folder/directory is not created until you've resolved all the conflicts between the ancestor and the derivatives and saved the folder in the Project Merge Tool.

Target Tab

Field	Description	Rules and Guidelines
Object Type	Select File Based or Project.
Specification	Do one of the following: Type the project specification. Click the Browse button to find the project. Click New Project to create a new project.	Applies if the Object Type is Project. Specifications have the following format: productID:projectID
Folder	Type a folder path, or click the Browse button and select a folder.	Applies if the Object Type is File Based.
