Use this dialog box to create a new item. You can create a new item in two ways:
By adding an existing file or folder
By creating an item without adding a file (an item with no initial content).
Use the General tab to specify the name and related requests for the new item.
See Attributes Tab/Page for how to view and change the user-defined attributes for the new item.
See Advanced Tab if you need to override any of the default settings from the General tab, or if you need to set the item type.
NOTE If you change the values for the Filename or Folder fields on the Advanced tab, Dimensions CM may automatically update the values of Item Type, Item Format or Owning Design Part based on what you have changed. It is advisable to select the General tab again to check these fields.
