Merging Projects

Purpose

Merge projects when you want to merge parallel developments. For example, you might want to merge the Maintenance and Development, or a previous customization into the latest development release. Rather than merging at the item level, you can merge the projects, either into an existing project or into a new one.

NOTE  This option is not available for streams. See Chapter , "Working with Streams" on page 289 for details of how to merge streams.
