Descriptions Tab (Find Request Dialog Box)

Use the Descriptions tab of the Find dialog box to limit a search by specifying search strings in the detailed description or the action descriptions.

Detailed Description

Enter search criteria for searching based in the detailed description.

 

Case-sensitive search

Select this option if you want the search to be case-sensitive.

 

Match any

Select this option if you want the search to match descriptions that contain any of the search strings entered.

 

Match all

Select this option if you want the search to only match descriptions that contain all of the search strings entered.

 

Text box

Enter the search string(s).

For example search strings, see Description Matching Examples.

  • % matches any string of zero or more characters.

  • _ (underscore) matches any single character.

  • Double Quotes: " can be used to match phrases, or groups of words separated by spaces or line breaks.

  • / can be used to escape the %, _ or " characters.

Action Descriptions

Enter search criteria for searching based in the action descriptions.
