Relationships Tab

Use the Relationships tab to identify the design parts, items, baselines, requirements, and other requests that are related to the new request.

Related Parts

Type or accept the design part specification that the request affects, or click the Browse button:Browse_button00007.gif to find it.

By specifying a design part, you indicate that the request is to affect only that design part and its descendants.

Design Part specifications have the following format: productID:partID.variant;PCS

Related Items

Type or accept the item specification, or click the Browse button:Browse_button00008.gif to find it.

Item specifications have the following format: productID:itemID.variantItemType;revision

Relationship Type

Select Affected, In Response To, or Information.

 

Related requests

Type or accept the request specification, or click the Browse button:Browse_button00009.gif to find it.

request specifications have the following format: productID_RequestType_n where n is the number of requests that have been created for this combined productID and RequestType, incrementally updated by one. For example, if the most recent request for this combination is PAYROLL_CR_4, the new request will be PAYROLL_CR_5.

If the request is a draft, RequestType is HELD.

Select the relationship type from the list.
