Assign/Edit Node Object Dialog Box

The Assign/Edit Node Object dialog box enables you to specify the network object and protocol for the selected network node.

Field	Description	Rules and Guidelines
Network Object Name	Select the existing network object name or enter a name to define a new object. The existing name is the '- service' entry in the listener.dat file located in the Dimensions dfs sub-directory.	Required. Up to 20 characters. You cannot edit this value after creating the network object.
Description	A description of the network object.	Optional. Up to 240 characters.
Process	The network object process name.	Optional. Up to 10 characters.
Protocol	The network protocol: either SDP for the standard network protocol or SSLSDP if a Secure Sockets Layers network protocol is being used.	Required.
