Enabling SMTP authentication

SMTP authentication can be used to validate the account used to send email notifications to users.

To enable SMTP authentication

  1. From the top-level navigation, open the Admin module.
  2. Select Customization.
  3. Select the Environment Settings tab.
  4. Select the Notification Settings tab.
  5. Select Use SMTP Authentication.
  6. Enter a user name and password (twice, for verification).
  7. Click Save Save.
