Projects → Task Plan → Dialog Boxes → Task Information → Task Information, Predecessors → Editing the lag for a predecessor task
A predecessor is a task that determines when another task (a successor) can be scheduled. Lag occurs when there is a delay between two tasks that share a dependency. Lag time is entered as a duration or as a percentage of the task's duration, where a positive entry is used for lag time, for example 5d is a lag of five days.
