If you don't need an element on a home page, you can delete it.
To delete a home page element
- From the top-level navigation, open the Admin module.
- Select Customization.
- Select the Module Designer tab.
- Under General Options, select the home page that you want to modify.

On the form designer, right-click the element you want to remove and click Delete
.
