These roles define the functions users can perform with resources. Available permissions are read, write, execute, and security, (see Permissions Available for Every Role table.
To add users to resource roles:

Display the Security tab for the target resourceResources > [selected resource] > Security). For resource groups:Resources > Resource Groups > [Edit Group action] > Security.
All defined roles are displayed.

Use the Add Role Member action for a specific role, then select the user.
All users are available. As shipped, Serena Release Automation providesAdmin role with all configured permissions granted. By default,Admin has a single user—admin.
