Server Installation (Other UNIX Platforms)

These server installation instructions are for UNIX platforms other than Linux/UNIX (AIX, Solaris).

To install the server:

Download theserena_ra.war file. This file is contained in theSerena.RA-Other40.zip. For more information, see Downloading Serena Release Automation.
Stop Apache Tomcat.
Copy and paste theserena_ra.war file into your Tomcat 1.6 or Serena Common Tomcatwebapps folder.
Restart Tomcat.
Launch a browser and navigate to http://localhost:8080/serena_ra.

The configuration setup displays.
Modify any configuration parameters as needed:
- Install location
- External Web URL
- Agent port and choice of mutual authentication
- Database (port, schema, user, password)
Click Install.

When the server installation is complete, the Serena Release Automation login page displays.
