You might need to change a process app after it is deployed and in production. Such process apps are stored in the SBM Application Repository. Changes you make could be complex, or as simple as adding a field or changing the value of an existing field.
Click the Composer button and then click Open. The Open Process App dialog box opens. Click Application Repository, select the process app, and then click Open.
In App Explorer, select the table under the Tables heading. Drag the field from the Table Palette to the table editor in the middle of the SBM Composer window. Specify settings for the field in the field Property Editor below the table editor.
These fields are Single Selection or Multi-Selection fields. You can add, modify, and delete their values on the Options tab of the field Property Editor.
Yes, the changes do not take effect until you redeploy the process app.
This lets you open a labeled version of the selected process app. When you publish a process app, you can accept the label that SBM Composer assigns (for example, "Version 1.1") or type your own label (for example, "MyProcessApp Patch 1").
A patch context allows parallel and concurrent development to occur on the same process app, so that patches can be applied to the production process app as ongoing development of the main process app continues. The patch context serves as the baseline for the maintenance work. When you open a labeled version of a process app, you have the option to create a patch context. If you decline, then the process app opens in read-only mode. Note: A patch context is not the same thing as a branch in a version control application.
