Add properties to a component process for information that may have values specific to the scope of that process.
To define a component process property:
- Navigate to Management > Components > [select component] > Processes.

In the processes list, next to the process for which you want to
define a property, click the
Details icon (
).
- On the Properties tab, click the Add Property button.

Fill in the fields as shown in the following table.
Field Description Name Property name Description Property description Label Enter a label to be associated with the property in the user interface. Required Select this if the property is required. Type Specify the type of expected value. The supported types are as follows:- text
- text area
- check box
- select
- multi select
- secure
Default Value Enter a default value (if any). - Click Save.
You can use this property in the same process where it is defined by referencing it in one of the steps. Use the following syntax: ${p:<property name>}
