Creating a Create Component Step

This step creates a new Serena DA component.

Required properties:

Property Name Description
Component Name The name of the new component.
Source Config Type The source configuration plug-in for this component. Values are:
  • None
  • AnthillPro
  • ClearCaseUCM
  • File System (Basic)
  • File System (Versioned)
  • Git
  • Jenkins
  • Luntbuild
  • Maven
  • PVCS
  • Perforce
  • StarTeam
  • Subversion
  • TFS
  • TFS_SCM
  • TeamCity
  • TeamForge
Default Version Type The types of versions to create automatically upon import.

Optional properties:

Property Name Description
Component Description A description of the new component.
Template Name If this component uses a template, enter its name here.
Template Version If this component uses a template version, enter the version number here.
Import Versions Automatically Check to import versions automatically.
Copy To Codestation If checked, artifacts will be copied from the given source to the server's Codestation repository.
Source Config Properties Insert properties to pass in for the source configuration plug-in. Specify one property per line, following the format name=value.
