Step 9: Mapping Components to the Environment Resource

Before we can deploy, we must map the helloWorld component to the agent machine where the application's process steps will be executed.

  1. Navigate to Applications > [select helloWorld_application] > Environments > [select the DV1 environment] > Component Mappings > Add a Resource [button].
  2. Select the agents that you associated with your DV1 environment in the earlier step.
  3. Click Save.

While our example uses only a single resource, deployments can use many resources and resource groups. Resource groups provide a way to combine resources, which can be useful when multiple deployments use overlapping resources.
