Single Sign-On (SSO) Configuration

Single Sign-On (SSO) is required for Deployment Automation to be used as part of the Release Manager solution. SSO enables Deployment Automation to communicate with other products such as SBM, Dimensions CM, and ChangeMan ZMF. Login information is passed automatically through SSO so that there is no need to prompt for login credentials as information flows between products.

You configure SSO differently depending on the type of Deployment Automation installation you have.

• If you have installed Deployment Automation as a native installation with the Release Manager solution installation, see the Serena Release Manager Getting Started Guide for instructions on configuring SSO.
• If you have installed Deployment Automation as a remote installation using the Deployment Automation installer, you must configure SSO according to the following procedures:
