Database Installation

In addition to the supplied Derby database, Deployment Automation currently supports Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL databases.

The following topics tell how to prepare the database before the server installation and the options to use for each database type during server installation. Select the topic for the database type you are using.

Note: If you are using the built-in Derby database, you do not need to prepare the database before installing the server. If selected, the Derby database is created during the server installation.
