Adding Application Properties

Properties are parameters that can be preset and passed from step to step in processes.

To add a property to the selected application:

Use the Add Property button.
The Edit Property pop-up displays.
Enter the property's name in the Name field.
While component fields can be of any size, configuration properties are restricted to 4,000 characters.
Enter a description of the property in the Description field.
Specify whether the property is secure by using the Secure check box.
Secure properties are stored encrypted and displayed obscured in Deployment Automation's user interface.
Enter a value for the property in the Value field.
To save the property, click Save, or to discard your work click Cancel.
