Accessing Release Automation

  1. Open a web browser and enter the following URL:

    http://serverName:port/serena_ra/

    Use the host name and port for the application server where you installed Release Automation. The default port is 8085 for Serena Common JBoss and 8080 for Serena Common Tomcat.
  2. Log on to the server using the credentials (Username and Password) you set up during the server installation.

    Once you are logged in, you can change these in System Settings. See System Administration.

  3. Activate the license.

    A license is required in order for the agents to connect to the server. Without a license, Release Automation will be unable to run deployments. For information about acquiring and activating a license, see Licenses.
