Setting Privileges for the Deployment Log

To see the deployment status in turnovers on the Deployment Path tab, users must have all privileges for the Deployment Log table within the Turnover process app. The Deployment Log is actually a report implemented as a table, so it cannot be given privileges through roles. Therefore, the privileges must be set for users or groups after you have promoted the Turnover process app.

To set the privileges for the Deployment Log table:

  1. In the Application Administrator, edit the user or group to which you want to add the privileges.
  2. In the navigation pane, select Privileges and then select Table.
  3. In the list of tables, select the Deployment Log table.
  4. In the Grant Privileges pane, select all privileges.
  5. Save your changes.
The report associated with the Deployment Log table should now appear in the Deployment Path tab for the user or group members for which you added the privileges, and the deployment path should be in color for environments and transitions that have been completed or are in progress.
